Alouettes cruise past Eskimos

The Montreal Alouettes scored 31 points in the fourth quarter as they crushed the Edmonton Eskimos 50-16 Thursday night.

Montreal covered the 7-point spread, and the 66 points sailed OVER the posted total of 53.

Anthony Calvillo completed 24-of-32 for 343 yards and two touchdowns. Kerry Watkins had nine catches for 119 yards and a TD for the Alouettes.

Arkee Whitlock scored the lone touchdown for the Eskimos, while Ricky Ray completed just 19 passes for 280 yards.
