Tiger-Cats upset Lions

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats held off a fourth-quarter rally to defeat the British Columbia Lions 31-28 Friday night at BC Place Stadium.

Hamilton won the game as a 13-point underdog, while the combined 59 points sailed OVER the posted total of 50.

Quinton Porter completed 19-of-24 for 22 yards with one touchdown, while rushing for another for the Tiger-Cats.

Buck Pierce threw for 333 yards with two touchdowns, while throwing three interceptions in the loss.
