Eskimos rally past Riders

The Edmonton Eskimos put up 17 points in the third quarter and held Saskatchewan to just eight in the second half, as they came away with a 38-33 win over the Roughriders Saturday at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field.

Edmonton won the game as a 4-point underdog, and the combined 71 points sailed OVER the posted total of 54.

Calvin McCarty ran for 76 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Arkee Whitlock had 63 yards rushing with a TD for the Eskimos.

Darian Durant completed 20-of-36 for 238 yards with a touchdown for the Roughriders, who fell to 2-2 with the loss.
