Lions roar past Eskimos

Jamal Robertson carried the ball 11 times for 168 yards with a touchdown Sunday, as the BC Lions defeated the Edmonton Eskimos 25-10 in the season-opener.

The Lions won the game as 4-point underdogs, while the 35 points went UNDER the posted total of 54 set by oddsmakers.

Paul McCallum booted six field goals in the win for the Lions, while Casey Printers threw for 218 yards.

Arkee Whitlock ran for 116 yards off 16 carries with one TD for the Eskimos.
