Lions down Bombers in late rally

Paul McCallum booted a field goal in the dying seconds to give the BC Lions a 16-14 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Saturday night.

The Lions failed to cover the 4.5-point spread, while the combined score went UNDER the posted total of 52 set by oddsmakers.

Travis Lulay completed 21-of-33 pass attempts for 237 yards with a rushing touchdown for the Lions.

Steven Jyles threw for 258 yards with a touchdown in a losing effort for the Blue Bombers.
