Eskimos manage to hold off Argos

Steven Jyles threw for 236 yards on Saturday night as the Edmonton Eskimos held on for a 19-15 win over the Toronto Argonauts in Week 1 action at Commonwealth Stadium.

The Argonauts had entered the contest as 1-point favorites on the road at the sportsbooks, while the combined score fell well UNDER the posted total of 49 points on the night.

Ricky Ray passed for 298 yards in the losing cause for the Argos.
