Jahvid Davis ran for two touchdowns in helping the California Golden Bears tore apart the Maryland Terrapins 52-13 Saturday night to open the season.
California easily covered the 21-point spread, while the combined score sailed OVER the posted total of 50.
Kevin Riley completed 17-of-26 for 298 yards and four touchdowns to lead California.
DaRel Scott scored the only touchdown in the loss for Maryland.
