Smith runs Tigers over Cornhuskers
Quarterback Brad Smith threw a touchdown pass and rushed for a whopping 246 yards and three TD’s to lead the Missouri Tigers to a 41-24 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers won this game as 2.5-point underdogs at home. The game’s combined 65 points went OVER the posted total (52).
Tony Temple had a rushing touchdown for the Tigers and Tommy Saunders had a touchdown reception in the win.
Zac Taylor completed 22-of-44 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns and was picked off twice in the loss. Nate Swift had nine catches for 132 yards and a touchdown, and Todd Peterson caught three passes for 65 yards and a TD.
