The Houston Cougars scored 24 points in the first half en route to a convincing 38-15 victory over the SMU Mustangs Saturday night.
Houston covered the 16.5-point spread, but the teams played UNDER the posted total of 70.
Charles Sims ran for 105 yards with two touchdowns for Houston. Shawnbrey McNeal ran for 95 yards with a TD in the loss.
