Kent State covered as a 7-point home favorite while the final score played over the 47-point total.
The Golden Flashes were paced by RB Jacquise Terry's 103 yards on the ground.
Redhawks QB Zac Dysert totaled 337 yards and a touchdown in the air while rushing for 107 yards. He was also picked off twice.
