Cal offense dominates Bulldogs
The California Golden Bears' offense exploded for three touchdowns in the second quarter to begin their 42-12 pounding of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday night.
However, the 33.5-point favorite Golden Bears fell short of covering the spread, and the game finished well UNDER the posted 67 points.
Nathan Longshore went 23-for-33 with 227 yards passing for the Golden Bears in the win. Longshore threw two touchdowns and was intercepted once before being replaced by Kevin Riley in the fourth quarter.
Zak Champion went 19-for-33 for 157 passing yards and two touchdowns in the loss for the Bulldogs.
