G.J. Kinne threw for 371 yards to lead the Golden Hurricane over Rice 64-27 on Saturday in Week 10 action at Chapman Stadium.

Sam McGuffie rushed for 178 yards for Rice, while Charles Ross added 8 yards. Taylor Cook threw for 122 yards for the Owls, while receivers Luke Willson and Vance McDonald had 85 and 69 yards respectively.
Rice lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulsa 612-415 yards in Saturday's game. Tulsa had more first downs as that total ended up 31-15.
The time of possession battle favored Tulsa as their offense was on the field for 34:42, longer than the 25:18 of their opponents.
Tulsa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Houston. Rice will aim to get back on the winning track at Tulane.
