Hawkeyes fight off Hoosiers
Albert Young ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries to lead the Iowa Hawkeyes to a 38-21 win over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.
This game ended in a push with the Hawkeyes being 17-point favorites. The game’s combined 59 points went OVER the posted total (52.5).
Drew Tate completed 12-of-25 passes for 264 yards and threw touchdowns to Clinton Solomon and Matt Melloy in the win. Damian Sims added a 30-yard TD on the ground for the Hawkeyes.
Blake Powers threw for 359 yards and two touchdowns and ran in for another in the loss. James Bailey and James Hardy had a TD reception each for the Hoosiers.
