Palko passes Pitt to win over Bearcats
Tyler Palko threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns as the Pittsburgh Panthers used a 16-point third quarter to beat the Cincinnati Bearcats 33-15 at Nippert Stadium on Friday.
Pitt managed to cover the 7.5-point spread on the road, and the 48 combined points were OVER the posted total of 43.
Palko was 10-for-20 on the evening, and Derek Kinder caught three passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers.
Dustin Grutza was 21-for-35 for 189 yards and one touchdown, but two interceptions hurt the Bearcats' cause. Dominick Goodman had seven receptions for 65 yards for Cincinnati on the night.
