Washington got a 117-yard performance from Chris Polk as a key part of its 52-24 victory over the Buffaloes on Saturday at Husky Stadium.
Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 17.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 57.5.
Keith Price completed 21 of 28 pass attempts for 257 yards for the Huskies in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Tony Jones rushed for 49 yards for Colorado, while Rodney Stewart added 42 yards. Tyler Hansen threw for 155 yards for the Buffaloes, while receivers Tony Jones and Logan Gray had 49 and 47 yards respectively.
Colorado lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 562-269 yards in Saturday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 31-17.
The time of possession battle favored Washington as their offense was on the field for 30:37, longer than the 29:23 of their opponents.
Next game, Washington takes its act on the road to face Stanford looking for another win. For Colorado, they head home to face Oregon.
