Cyclones defeat Buffaloes
The Iowa State Cyclones used home field advantage Saturday night to get past #22 Colorado 30-16.
Even though Iowa was the -1 point underdog in the contest they didn’t disappoint. The total points were OVER the posted total of 44.5.
Iowa State QB Bret Meyer was good on 19-of-38 pass attempts for 247 yards and a touchdown in the win. Todd Blythe was his favorite target on the night. The receiver caught five passes for 105 yards.
Colorado QB Joel Klatt competed 25-of-42 passes for 291 yards in the game. TB Hugh Charles also led the way for the Buffaloes with 18 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown.
The win improves the Cyclones' record to 7-3. With the loss the Buffaloes' record also becomes 7-3.
