Cornhuskers topple Cyclones

Cody Glenn had two rushing touchdowns as the Nebraska Cornhuskers defeated the Iowa State Cyclones 28-14 Saturday night.

Nebraska came into the game as a 7-point favorite on the road and made good on covering the spread. The game’s combined 42 points fell UNDER the posted total (54).

Glenn carried the ball 19 times for 147 yards with two TD’s and quarterback Zac Taylor threw one TD pass, completing 17-of-21 for 130 yards in the win.

Bret Meyer was good on 18-of-38 with 263 yards and one touchdown while carrying the ball 13 times for one TD on the ground in the loss.
