Jayhawks blow out Cyclones in sloppy affair

The Kansas Jayhawks overcame their four turnovers by forcing four, and allowing only 218 yards of offence in a 41-10 romp of Iowa State at Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday.

The Jayhawks did more than enough to cover the 2-point spread on the road, and the 51 points scored were a PUSH with the posted total of 51.

Kerry Meier went 17-for-22 for 200 yards and two touchdowns, and Jon Cornish carried 17 times for 86 yards for the Jayhawks.

Bret Meyer was 16-for-31 for 181 yards and a pick, and Milan Moses caught nine passes for 109 yards for the Cyclones.
