Nevada vs Oregon Wrap - Oregon Wins 69-20
The battle between the Ducks and Wolf Pack didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Nevada was handed a 69-20 defeat on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
The Ducks were a 27-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 63.5.
Darron Thomas completed 13 of 19 pass attempts for 295 yards for the Ducks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Mike Ball rushed for 99 yards for Nevada, while Stefphon Jefferson added 62 yards. Tyler Lantrip threw for 219 yards for the Wolf Pack, while receivers Rishard Matthews and Shane Anderson had 100 and 48 yards respectively.
Nevada was outgained by Oregon 603-516 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-25 by the Wolf Pack.
Oregon lost the time of possession battle 38:18/21:42, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Oregon heads into a Week 3 battle against Missouri State. Nevada, meanwhile, will have their next action against San Jose State.
