Ranked Ducks get win versus Wildcats
The No. 15 Oregon Ducks managed to pull out a win on Saturday night, getting past the Arizona Wildcats by a 28-21 final score.
The Ducks failed to cover the 12-point spread on the road in this contest. The combined score fell UNDER the game’s posted total (52).
Ducks QB Kellen Clemens went 10-of-18 for 188 yards on the night, finding Cameron Colvin in the end zone and getting intercepted once. Justin Phinisee returned a punt for a score, and Jonathan Stewart ran for a Ducks touchdown. Brett Haberly returned a fumble for the winning TD in the fourth quarter.
Willie Tuitama completed 18-of-34 pass attempts for 183 yards for Arizona, tossing TD strikes to Travis Bell and Michael Thomas and getting picked off once. Mike Bell ran for a score in the loss.
