Wildcats pummel favored Bruins

Arizona showed UCLA who was boss Saturday night, jumping out to a 31-7 lead at the half, and then riding to a 46-17 victory.

UCLA was actually favored by 9.5 points in the game, but couldn’t come through. The total points were OVER the posted total (56).

Arizona QB Willie Tuitama had a fine showing, good on 14-of-24 attempts for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He also got rushing touchdowns from three different players: Mike Bell, Gilbert Harris, and Michael Thomas.

Bruins QB Drew Olsen couldn’t get the offense started all night, going 24-for-39 for 234 yards, and two TDs.

The loss is UCLA’s first of the season.
