Wildcats claw past Cougars
The Arizona Wildcats clawed their way past the Brigham Young Cougars 16-13 Saturday night in their season opener.
Arizona came into the game as a 9-point favorite at home and failed to cover the spread. The game’s final score fell UNDER the posted total (51).
Wildcats quarterback Willie Tuitama completed 19-of-38 pass attempts for 185 yards, and scored a TD in the win over the Cougars.
John Beck passed for 286 yards in the loss for BYU, completing 28-of-37 pass attempts, and throwing for one touchdown.
