Wisconsin rips Akron

P.J. Hill ran for 210 yards with two touchdowns to lead the No. 23 Wisconsin Badgers in a 38-17 win over the Akron Zips in their season-opener Saturday afternoon.

Wisconsin failed to cover the 27-point spread, but the combined 55 points made it OVER the posted total of 52.

Allan Evridge threw for 75 yards with one touchdown for the Badgers, and Zach Brown had 87 yards rushing with a TD in the win.

Chris Jacquemain passed for 227 yards with two touchdowns in a losing effort for Akron.
