Warriors defeat Sun Devils in Hawaii Bowl
Colt Brennan threw for 559 yards and five touchdowns on Christmas Eve as the Hawaii Warriors rolled past the Arizona State Sun Devils by a final score of 41-24 in the Hawaii Bowl.
The Warriors had been listed as 9-point favorites in this contest, and had no trouble covering the spread. The combined score fell UNDER the night's posted total (73).
Brennan completed 33-of-42 pass attempts in the win, with the five TD strikes and just one interception. Jason Rivers and Ryan Grice-Mulligan each had two TD catches for Hawaii.
Rudy Carpenter went 13-of-26 for 190 yards passing in the loss for Arizona State, with two touchdown passes and no interceptions.
