Michigan vs Penn State Recap - Nittany Lions Win 41-31
Evan Royster tore up the turf for 150 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Nittany Lions to a 41-31 win over the Wolverines at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions were a 3-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 54.5.
Matthew McGloin completed 17 of 28 pass attempts for 250 yards for the Nittany Lions in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Denard Robinson rushed for 191 yards for Michigan, while Vincent Smith added 24 yards. Denard Robinson threw for 190 yards for the Wolverines, while receivers Kevin Koger and Kelvin Grady had 60 and 36 yards respectively.
Penn State outgained Michigan 435-423 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-19 by the Nittany Lions.
Michigan lost the time of possession battle 37:29/22:31, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
