Tigers roar past Kentucky
Kenny Irons rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday to lead the No. 17 Auburn Tigers to a 49-27 win over the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Tigers came into this one as a 22.5-point favorite but fell just shy on covering the spread. The Tigers’ 49 points alone went OVER the posted total (46).
Tristan Davis ran for 158 yards and a TD on eight carries, while Tre Smith and Prechae Rodriguez added a TD each on the ground. Brandon Cox passed for 207 yards and threw a touchdown to Rodriguez in the win for the Tigers.
Rafael Little rushed for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Kentucky, and Andre Woodson threw for 333 yards, a touchdown, and got picked off once. Keenan Burton made seven catches for 99 yards and a TD.
