Cardinals push Wolverines to limit
Heisman candidate Mike Hart ran for 138 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries as the No.2 Michigan Wolverines held off a late charge from the Ball State Cardinals to win 34-26 at Michigan Stadium on Saturday.
The Wolverines did not cover the 34.5-point spread at home, but the 60 points scored were OVER the posted total of 49.5.
Chad Henne was 17-for-25 for 155 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, and Steve Breaston caught seven passes for 50 yards for the Wolverines.
Nate Davis had a decent day, going 18-for-34 for 250 yards, one score, and one pick, while Dante Love had six receptions for 107 yards and a major for the Cardinals.
