Wolverines strike early; down RedHawks
The Michigan Wolverines scored 10 points in the first quarter and then held the Miami (OH) RedHawks to just 49 yards rushing in a 16-6 win Saturday afternoon.
Michigan failed to cover the 14.5-point spread, while the 22 points went UNDER the posted total of 40.
Steven Threet threw for just 63 yards, but ran for 26 yards and a touchdown to lead the way for Michigan.
Nathan Parseghian kicked two field goals in the loss for Miami (OH).
