Cardinals run over Wildcats
No.8 Louisville used a grinding ground game to defeat the Kansas State Wildcats 24-6 at KSU Stadium on Saturday.
The Cardinals covered the 14-point spread on the road, but the 30 points scored was well UNDER the posted total of 52.5.
Hunter Cantwell went 18-for-27 for 172 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Kolby Smith and George Stripling each ran for 64 yards, with Stripling scoring a touchdown for the Cardinals.
Dylan Meier threw for 122 yards and a pick on 14-for-33 passing on the day, and Thomas Clayton had 15 rushing attempts for 118 yards and a major for the Wildcats.
