Cougars down sloppy Lobos

BYU forced four New Mexico turnovers in Week 5, as the Cougars defeated the Lobos 31-24 at University Stadium.

The Cougars covered the 3.5-point road spread, and the 55 points scored were OVER the posted total of 54.

Max Hall went 18-for-40 for 254 yards, two touchdowns and a pick, while Austin Collie caught four passes for 101 yards and a score for the Cougars.

Donovan Porterie was 18-for-38 for 222 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Rodney Ferguson had 199 combined yards and three majors for the Lobos.
