Colorado State beats Fresno State in New Mexico Bowl
The Colorado State Rams scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to claim the New Mexico Bowl with a 40-35 win over the Fresno State Bulldogs at University Stadium Saturday.
Colorado State covered as a 2-point underdog while the final score played over the 61-point total.
Rams quarterback Billy Farris passed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while senior running back Gartrell Johnson rumbled for 341 yards and two scores in the win.
The Bulldogs got 233 yards on the ground from Anthony Harding and Lonyae Miller. Quarterback Tom Brandstater passed for one touchdown on 186 yards.
