Recap - Vandals Defeat San Jose State 26-23
The Spartans came up short against the Vandals in Week 14 action on Saturday, falling 26-23 at Kibbie Dome.
The Vandals earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 14-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 56.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Nathan Enderle completed 16 of 30 pass attempts for 250 yards for the Vandals in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
David Freeman rushed for 93 yards for San Jose State, while Brandon Rutley added 45 yards. Jordan La Secla threw for 310 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Jalal Beauchman and Noel Grigsby had 111 and 93 yards respectively.
Idaho lost the offensive yardage battle to San Jose State 496-421 yards in Saturday's game. San Jose State had more first downs as that total ended up 25-22.
The time of possession battle favored San Jose State as their offense was on the field for 46:58, longer than the 28:02 of their opponents.
