North Dakota vs Idaho Wrap - Idaho Wins 44-14
North Dakota couldn't hang with the Vandals on Saturday as Idaho blasted the Fighting Sioux 44-14 in Week 2 action at Kibbie Dome.
The Vandals were a 17-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 47.5.
Brian Reader completed 27 of 39 pass attempts for 299 yards for the Vandals in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Mitch Sutton rushed for 22 yards for North Dakota, while Jake Miller added 11 yards. Joey Bradley threw for 166 yards for the Fighting Sioux, while receivers Greg Hardin and Seth Nichols had 81 and 22 yards respectively.
Idaho outgained North Dakota 424-197 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-11 by the Vandals.
North Dakota lost the time of possession battle 35:35/24:25, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Idaho looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Texas A&M. North Dakota will aim to get back on the winning track at Fresno State.
