Bulldogs vs Vandals Final: 48-24 - Recap
Fresno State's aerial attack produced 371 yards and the Bulldogs produced a 48-24 victory over Idaho on Saturday at Kibbie Dome.
The Bulldogs were a 1-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 53.5.
Robbie Rouse rushed for 112 yards, while Milton Knox added 27 yards in the win. Jalen Saunders and Rashad Evans added 142 and 81 receiving yards respectively.
Princeton McCarty rushed for 33 yards for Idaho, while Kama Bailey added 19 yards. Brian Reader threw for 235 yards for the Vandals, while receivers Michael LaGrone and Mike Scott had 57 and 43 yards respectively.
Idaho lost the offensive yardage battle to Fresno State 513-283 yards in Saturday's game. Fresno State had more first downs as that total ended up 22-17.
Idaho lost the time of possession battle 33:03/26:57, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Fresno State takes its act home to face Mississippi looking for another win. For Idaho, they head on the road to face Virginia.
