Nevada hold early lead
The Nevada Wolf Pack jumped out to a 17-7 lead after one quarter, and held on to beat the Northwestern Wildcats 31-21 at MacKay Stadium on Friday.
The Wolf Pack covered the 7-point spread at home, and the 52 points scored were OVER the posted total of 47.
Jeff Rowe went 18-for-25 for 198 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, and Robert Hubbard ran for 159 yards on 32 carries to lead Nevada.
Mike Kafka had a miserable passing game, going 9-for-21 for 123 yards and three picks, but made up for it with 110 rushing yards and a score. Shaun Herbert caught three balls for 44 yards for the Wildcats.
