Wolf Pack vs Aggies Final: 56-42 - Recap
Colin Kaepernick ran for 102 yards as Nevada handled Utah State by a score of 56-42 on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
The Wolf Pack earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 27-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 64.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Colin Kaepernick completed 10 of 15 pass attempts for 190 yards for the Wolf Pack in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Derrvin Speight rushed for 51 yards for Utah State, while Diondre Borel added 20 yards. Diondre Borel threw for 399 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Kellen Bartlett and Dontel Watkins had 121 and 82 yards respectively.
Utah State was outgained by Nevada 596-490 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 30-27 by the Wolf Pack.
The time of possession battle favored Nevada as their offense was on the field for 32:28, longer than the 27:32 of their opponents.
Nevada looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Idaho. Utah State will aim to get back on the winning track vs New Mexico State.
