Bulldogs eat up Commodores

D.J. Shockley passed for 293 yards and three touchdowns as the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs rolled to a 34-17 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday.

The Bulldogs were favored by 16-points in this one and were just able to cover the spread. The game’s combined 51 points went OVER the posted total (46).

Kregg Lumpkin rushed for a touchdown, while Bryan McClendon, Mohammed Massoguoi and Brannan Southerland all had touchdown catches for the Bulldogs.

Cassen Jackson-Garrison rushed for 58 yards and a TD on seven carries for the Commodores. Jay Cutler passed for 160 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
