Curtis McNeal rushed for 145 yards for Southern Cal, while Marc Tyler added 3 yards. Matt Barkley threw for 284 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Marqise Lee and Robert Woods had 94 and 89 yards respectively.
Southern Cal was outgained by Stanford 516-432 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 29-25 by the Cardinal.
The time of possession battle favored Stanford as their offense was on the field for 35:53, longer than the 24:07 of their opponents.
Stanford looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oregon State. Southern Cal will aim to get back on the winning track at Colorado.
