Atlanta Defeats Tampa Bay 24-23 - Recap

Matt Ryan sliced and diced the Buccaneers defense for 353 yards and 1 TD as Atlanta handed Tampa Bay a 24-23 defeat on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.

The winning margin fell right on the closing number of 1, meaning the game was a push for bettors. Those betting UNDER the total were also victorious as the final score equalled an UNDER play.

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 49 yards, while Michael Turner added 17 yards in the win. Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez added 147 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

Doug Martin rushed for 50 yards for Tampa Bay. Josh Freeman threw for 256 yards for the Buccaneers, while receivers Vincent Jackson and Tiquan Underwood had 96 and 77 yards respectively.

Tampa Bay was outgained by Atlanta 424-326 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-16 by the Falcons.

The time of possession battle favored Tampa Bay as their offense was on the field for 30:38, longer than the 29:22 of their opponents.

Next game, Atlanta takes its act home to face New Orleans looking for another win. For Tampa Bay, they head on the road to face Denver.
