Panthers vs Eagles Final: 30-22 - Recap

Cam Newton was good for 306 yards through the air on Monday as the Panthers got past the Eagles by a score of 30-22 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Carolina won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 3-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 41.5.

Cam Newton rushed for 52 yards, while Jonathan Stewart added 27 yards in the win. Brandon LaFell and Louis Murphy added 74 and 65 receiving yards respectively.

Bryce Brown rushed for 178 yards for Philadelphia, while Dion Lewis added 24 yards. Nick Foles threw for 119 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Jeremy Maclin and Brent Celek had 55 and 19 yards respectively.

Carolina outgained Philadelphia 398-311 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-18 by the Panthers.

The time of possession battle favored Carolina as their offense was on the field for 35:12, longer than the 24:48 of their opponents.

Carolina looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Chiefs. The Eagles will aim to get back on the winning track at Dallas.
