New Orleans Defeats Dallas 34-31 - Recap

Drew Brees passed for 3 TDs and 446 yards in leading the Saints past Dallas on Sunday at Cowboys Stadium.

New Orleans won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 54.5.

Mark Ingram rushed for 53 yards, while Darren Sproles added 48 yards in the win. Marques Colston and Darren Sproles added 153 and 104 receiving yards respectively.

DeMarco Murray rushed for 40 yards for Dallas. Tony Romo threw for 416 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Dez Bryant and Jason Witten had 224 and 60 yards respectively.

New Orleans outgained Dallas 562-446 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 33-18 by the Saints.

Dallas lost the time of possession battle 41:59/22:28, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, New Orleans takes its act home to face Carolina looking for another win. For Dallas, they head on the road to face Washington.
