Redskins vs Eagles Final: 27-20 - Recap

The Redskins got a 2-TD performance from Robert Griffin III as Washington handed Philadelphia a 27-20 defeat on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

Bettors who backed the Redskins were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of 4.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 46.5.

Alfred Morris rushed for 91 yards, while Evan Royster added 14 yards in the win. Pierre Garcon and Santana Moss added 89 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 45 yards for Philadelphia, while Bryce Brown added 18 yards. Nick Foles threw for 345 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy had 116 and 77 yards respectively.

Washington lost the offensive yardage battle to Philadelphia 411-313 yards in Sunday's game. Philadelphia had more first downs as that total ended up 25-18.

The time of possession battle favored Philadelphia as their offense was on the field for 30:37, longer than the 29:23 of their opponents.

Washington heads into a Week 17 battle against the Cowboys. Philadelphia, meanwhile, will have their next action against New York.
