Vikings edge 49ers

Brett Favre hit Greg Lewis on a 32-yard touchdown strike with two second remaining Sunday to give the Minnesota Vikings a 27-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The Vikings were a 7-point favorite, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (39.5).

Favre passed for 301 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Minnesota, while Adrian Peterson rushed for 85 yards on 19 carries.

Shaun Hill threw for 195 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for San Francisco, while Vernon Davis caught seven passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
