Steelers hold off Lions

Ben Roethlisberger passed for 277 yards with three touchdowns Sunday, as the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Detroit Lions 28-20.

The Steelers were an 11-point favorite in the game, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (44).

Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries for Pittsburgh, while Hines Ward caught seven passes for 85 yards and a TD.

Daunte Culpepper passed for 282 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Minnesota, while Dennis Northcutt caught five passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.
