Jake Delhomme passed for 181 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Carolina, while Jonathan Stewart rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Jason Campbell threw for 145 yards with a touchdown for Washington and Clinton Portis rushed for 57 yards and a TD on 19 carries and he also caught a TD pass.
