Falcons edge Buccaneers

Chris Redman passed for 243 yards with two touchdowns in place of the injured Matt Ryan Sunday, to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a 20-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Falcons were a 13-point favorite in the game, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (46).

Tony Gonzalez caught nine passes for 83 yards for Atlanta and Roddy White had five catches for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Josh Freeman passed for 250 yards with two touchdowns for Tampa Bay and Antonio Bryant had three receptions for 91 yards and a TD.
