Saints edge Redskins in OT

Garrett Hartley kicked an 18-yard field goal in overtime Sunday, to give the New Orleans Saints a 33-30 win over the Washington Redskins.

The Saints were an 8-point favorite in the game, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (47).

Drew Brees passed for 419 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for New Orleans, while Robert Meachum caught eight passes for 143 yards and a TD.

Jason Campbell threw for 367 yards with three touchdowns and an interception for Washington, while Devin Thomas had seven catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
