Recap - Patriots Defeat Cincinnati 38-24

Tom Brady passed for 3 TDs and 258 yards in leading the Patriots past Cincinnati on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots were a 5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 44.5.

Fred Taylor rushed for 71 yards, while Kevin Faulk added 23 yards in the win. Wes Welker and Randy Moss added 64 and 59 receiving yards respectively.

Cedric Benson rushed for 43 yards for Cincinnati, while Bernard Scott added 35 yards. Carson Palmer threw for 345 yards for the Bengals, while receivers Chad Ochocinco and Jordan Shipley had 159 and 82 yards respectively.

New England lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 428-376 yards in Sunday's game. Cincinnati had more first downs as that total ended up 26-20.

New England lost the time of possession battle 31:50/28:10, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, New England takes its act on the road to face New York looking for another win. For Cincinnati, they head home to face Baltimore.
