Buccaneers clip Falcons in OT
Matt Bryant kicked a 41-yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 27-24 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday.
Despite the loss, the Falcons were able to cover the 3.5-point spread on the road. The game’s combined 51 points went OVER the posted total (37).
Cadillac Williams had 150 yards and a TD on the ground for the Bucs, while Chris Simms threw for 285 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Michael Vick completed 16-of-26 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 63 yards on the ground for Atlanta. T.J Duckett rushed for a TD, while Justin Griffith and Micheal Jenkins had a touchdown catch each in the loss.
