Recap - Bengals Defeat Carolina 20-7

The Bengals were Week 3 winners on Sunday, coming out on top of the Panthers by a score of 20-7 at Bank of America Stadium.

The Bengals were a 3-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 37.5.

Carson Palmer completed 19 of 37 pass attempts for 195 yards and 1 TD for the Bengals in the win. He was picked off 2 times by the Panthers defense.

DeAngelo Williams rushed for 64 yards for Carolina, while Jonathan Stewart added 13 yards. Jimmy Clausen threw for 188 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Mike Goodson and Brandon LaFell had 47 and 44 yards respectively.

Cincinnati outgained Carolina 305-267 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-17 by the Bengals.

Carolina lost the time of possession battle 36:22/23:38, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Cincinnati looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Browns. The Panthers will aim to get back on the winning track at New Orleans.
